Information Technology Manager


Title:Information Technology MgrFTE Status:Full Time – 40 hours


FLSA Status:  ExemptReports To:   General Manager


Primary Purpose of Position:


Manages ICE’s network and server infrastructure; to include the security of the computer systems and electronic data, development and implementation of customized systems and oversight of all computer related activities. Determines ICE’s IT needs and is responsible for implementing computer systems to fulfill the organization’s information systems requirements. 


Essential Functions:


•Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware

•Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative

•Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration

•Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software

•Track and maintain hardware and software inventory


•Provides desktop support, network maintenance and support, phone systems, security cameras, software (primarily Microsoft environment), ERP system implementation, maintenance, and support

•Supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure

•Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals

•Managing IT budgets, forecast, handling cash flow and enforcing cost-effectiveness

•Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes

•Assessing and purchasing new and replacement hardware

•Assuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations

•Testing, troubleshooting, and adjusting information systems to operate effectively

•Implementing security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems


•Understand and support any ERP process and how it may be best utilized by the business, including “hands-on” support as needed


Additional Functions:


•Provide relief support to other members of IT team during their absence

Preferred Knowledge of, Skill and/or Ability to:


Excel in a fast-paced, agile environment using critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills

Knowledge and understanding of the processes relating to production orders, scheduling, inventory control, shipping and receiving

Strong technical skills

Understand fundamentals of a relational database

Microsoft Hyper-V

Oracle DBA and database architecture

Knowledge of CMMC/NIST

Knowledge of BI tools

Can use various database objects and leverage them using SQL 

Utilize strong organizational skills 

Must have good analytical and troubleshooting skills

Strong oral and written communication skills in English and with high attention to detail

Meet deadlines

Function independently as well as part of a team

Continue education and attend required training

Proven leadership skills


Preferred Education/Experience 


•Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field

•5+ years of experience in IT management to include ERP systems, IQMS experience preferred

•Knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring

•Expertise with implementing, configuring and testing solutions


Reporting:


• Direct report to Operations Manager

• Works directly with other employees in a team environment


Working Conditions:
