Are you early in your career, but you want to learn how an entire business functions while having a tangible impact?

The Inventory and FP&A Analyst will drive efficiency and growth, through data gathering, quantitative analysis, and special projects. The successful candidate will be a numbers person, highly skilled in Excel, but who is also able to understand the overarching business objectives. As a member of a small team, this role will be expected to contribute in a variety of ways within the Operations, Finance, and Accounting departments.

Responsibilities:

Inventory & Supply Chain

   * Assist Supply Chain Manager with the maintenance of Items and SKU’s in ERP system:
           * Develop and enforce logical methodology for SKU syntax.
           * Assign SKU’s to new products, and load them into ERP system (NetSuite).
           * Maintain mappings of assemblies to components (sourced via contract manufacturing).
           * Maintain mappings of kits and their components.
           * Deactivate old SKU’s.
   * Assist Supply Chain Manager with the monthly inventory demand forecasting.
   * Oversee inventory costing.
   * Provide accurate costing, shipping, D&T, and other operating expense data to Accounting.
   * Gather inventory and shipment data for duty drawbacks.
   * Analyze working capital allocation, especially to inventory.
   * Track inventory turns by product class.
   * Identify aging inventory worth liquidating or writing off.

Sales Order Data Management

   * Assist Operations Manager with configuration of Sales Order processing infrastructure

FP&A

   * Assist CFO with budgeting cycles, populating existing templates with updated financial data.
   * Develop KPI’s on discounts, location/category-level revenue and margin, etc.
   * Investigate variances to forecast, and offer suggestions.
   * Perform ad-hoc analysis and research to evaluate opportunities for cost reduction, etc.
   * Assemble presentations and dashboards to communicate performance.
   * Assist CMO and CFO with pricing strategy.

Required Education & Experience

   * Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a similar field
   * Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
   * Motorcycle riding experience, or willingness to learn, strongly preferred

Required Competencies

   * Microsoft Excel: Expert-level knowledge required (VBA a plus)
   * Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Access experience preferred
   * ERP/NetSuite experience a bonus
   * Familiarity with GAAP concepts and basic financial statements preferred

Compensation

Annual Salary DOE plus benefits package, including health insurance, PTO, paid moto camping trips, paid sick leave, life insurance + AD&D plan, and 401k program. Access to industry professional discounts on outdoor gear.

Work Location

This full-time in-house role is based at Mosko HQ in White Salmon, Washington. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
