About the role:

You will be working with our talented kitchen team and be responsible for a designated station on the kitchen service line. You will also take part in other duties such as opening, and closing procedures based on your shift. Line cooks are responsible for taking daily inventory of their stations, prepping as needed, communicating with managers and peers, and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, quality, and professionalism.

A breakdown of your tasks:

  • Work designated station on the kitchen service line
  • Ensure food meets pFriem quality standards
  • Execute all recipes as written
  • Prep food as needed
  • Take daily inventory of your station
  • Communicate with managers and peers
  • Follow all pFriem Kitchen checklists and guides
  • Maintain quality, cleanliness, sanitation and professionalism regardless of business volume
  • Complete additional tasks and/or ways to help other team members
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Routinely lift up to 50lbs safely and without risk of injury to self, others, or company property

Your qualifications

  • Positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Continually receptive to constructive guidance from leads and managers
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs safely and without risk of injury to self, others, or company property
  • Learn and adapt to how we do things in the pFriem Kitchen
  • Care about the quality of the job you perform, and strive for efficiency
  • Ability to provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated; able to look for additional tasks during slow times
  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace and environment.
  • Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
  • Able to work in a consistently busy restaurant environment.
  • At least 1+ year of prior kitchen experience in a restaurant.
  • Be available and reliable to work, and be consistently on-time
