The Waterleaf Spa is an energizing escape in the Columbia River Gorge. We care about whole-body wellness from the inside out, embracing the natural elements around us. Our spa Massage Therapists provide therapeutic massages, restorative body treatments, and tailored enhancements. Skamania Lodge features a large heated indoor swimming pool, indoor whirlpool, hot tub, and saunas located in both men’s & women’s locker rooms, as well as an incredible outdoor hot tub overlooking the Columbia Gorge Mountains.
What you will have an opportunity to do:
The Massage/body/hydrotherapy Technician will perform massage, body, and hydrotherapy treatments, and provide personal attention to each guest.
Essential:
Current Washington (WA) Massage Therapists License. Take personal responsibility and maintain the cleanliness of work areas. Ability to:
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
- Follow directions thoroughly.
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
- Begin and end treatments on time.
- Ensure the privacy of each guest.
- Maintain positive guest relations.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the working area.
- Promote and sell massage and body products
Desirable:
2 years of massage therapist experience. CPR trained. Experienced in body treatments. Trained in a variety of body treatments and massage modalities. Experience with computers, Experience in Hospitality Industry in a similar position. Previous guest relations training.
COMPENSATION: $15.74 per hour PLUS the below bonus for each service. Spa providers average $55.74- $77.74 per hour.
Level 1: $40 per 50 min. service; $55 per 80-minute service
Level 2: $43 per 50 min. service; $58 per 80-minute service
Level 3: $47 per 50 min. service; $62 per 80-minute service
