Big Y Fly Co in downtown HoodRiver has an immediate opening for full-time position(s). We are a fast growingonline and retail fly fishing company that continues to experience double digitgrowth every year since 2006.
We are looking for a detailedoriented person, who can bring a positive attitude, energy, and pleasantoutlook to work every day to help in various office/warehouse/retail tasks,including packing online orders, doing inventory, putting stock away, etc.
We are a hard-working, close-knitteam of employees who enjoy working with each other. Most of us love theoutdoors, dress is casual. No heavy lifting or equipment to operate.
Applicants must be looking forpermanent year-round employment and have had stayed at one job for an entire year,preferably multiple years. In other words,you need a steady work history, to be considered. Experiencein retail, warehouse, office, or food service is preferred. Fly fishingknowledge is strongly preferred, but not required.
Schedule is Tuesday thru Saturday 8-4. Must live in Columbia Gorge area.
Basic computer skills are required, basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Starting pay is $21-$23/hour,DOE.
Other goodies include up to $350/month health care reimbursement, paid time off, paid vacations, profitsharing, annual pay increases, retirement plan after three years of employment.Pay increase after 120 days of excellent work performance.
