Salary Range: $4,577. – $5,629./ month DOQ
PARKING ENFORCEMENT – HOOD RIVER, OR – The City of Hood River is located in the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area. Hood River’s permanent population is 8,250, but swells to over 20,000 on summer weekends.
The City of Hood River Parking Enforcement position has responsibility for and is a contact person for the City Parking Enforcement Program, including monitoring parking and issuing citations for violations of the parking code. This position patrols the City streets on foot to enforce parking regulations. This position is a non-represented, unarmed, and non-sworn position.
Excellent benefit package offered; Oregon Public Employees Retirement System, City pays 90% of Health Insurance Premium, City VEBA contributions, vacation, and paid leave/Holiday accruals. Bilingual pay 5%.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates for the position must pass a criminal background check, obtain and maintain a valid Oregon or Washington driver’s license, CPR, first aid certifications, and must have the ability to obtain and maintain CJIS certification.
