NealCreek Portable sanitation is hiring a Septic Technician with a CDL Class A withTanker Endorsement. Tremendous growth as well as competitive wages! This position consists of maintaining and servicing customers’septic systems and providing inspections based on Oregon State regulations. Experienceis preferred but training is provided.
Qualifications
-You’ll need to safely navigate traffic while driving aSeptic Pumping Truck, have ability to learn and perform equipment pre-tripinspection of assigned vehicle, be able to locate septic tank and uncover forservice, septic pumping, pump & alarm maintenance, facilitate repairs, timeof sale inspections, use of camera locating equipment, other tasks as assigned
-Valid Class A or B CDL license (with Tank Endorsement)and a safe, insurable driving record
-The ability to drive a manual transmission 10-speed or18-speed (no manual restriction)
-Able to lift 80 lbs +
-Able to pass a background check and drug testing
-Ability to maintain effectiverelationships with fellow employees, customers and vendors
Responsibilities
-Safely drive and operate a Septic Truck orservice vehicle
-Perform pre and post trip inspections
-Pumping and hauling of wastewater to disposalfacility
-Communicate effectively with team members andsupervisors regarding job assignments, safety concerns, and project updates
-Sit, bend and stand throughout the day, liftingand transporting units as indicated
-Ability to use Service Core software
-Always demonstrate a strong commitment tosafety and professional conduct
-Maintain a clean and organized work area,including the proper disposal of waste materials
-Perform related duties and responsibilities asrequired
