Steward / Dishwasher

What you will have an opportunity to do:

• Maintain daily sanitation log for both dish machine and manual pot washing sink.
• Clean and sanitize all dish ware, pots, pans, and glass ware either by hand or by using the dish machine.
• Ensure all chemicals are at sufficient levels in the dish machine.
• Be energy conscious and turn off lights when not in use, keep water faucets turned off and report any leaks to supervisor or manager on duty.
• You will be a key player in safety by paying close attention to specific high traffic areas to avoid accidents, slips, trips, and falls.
• Use proper dishes and glass racks to ensure proper cleaning and avoid chips, cracks, or breakage of small wares.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment.
• Can learn different tasks within the kitchen and develop new skills.
• Be a part of a team and assist in other areas when business levels dictate.
• Properly recycling all cardboard using the compactor.

What are we looking for?

• Ability to work on feet for most of the shift
• Ability to obtain a Washington Food Handlers Certification
• Ability to work various days and shifts including weekends and holidays

This role starts as a seasonal position, with the opportunity to be considered for a year-round position after 90 days, based on performance and business needs.
