Sakura Ridge the Farm & Lodge is looking for a breakfast cook with kitchen experience, a friendly personality, great communication skills and a commitment to providing guests with an exceptional and memorable experience. At Sakura Ridge, our team members are our most important resource, and our breakfast cook is key in guest’s daily experience. Daily duties include prepping, cooking and serving for up to 12 guests each morning and working with GM to develop weekly menus.

30 – 40 hours per week. Season April – November, with the possibility of a year-round position in the future.

Pay is $30/hour.

Areas of responsibilities include:

  • Ensures a high level of food quality and service to guests of the Lodge.
  • Make and serve breakfast for guests daily.
  • Work with GM on weekly menus and review upcoming orders and dietary restrictions.
  • Ensure compliance with health department regulations.
  • Complete daily and weekly cleaning of kitchen and dining room.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, communicating kitchen repairs to GM as needed.
  • Wash and prep garden harvests; unpack and store all deliveries.
  • Inventory and create ordering needs on a weekly basis.
  • Assist in checking vegetable garden, watering and tending to the animals on the farm which include chicken and sheep.
  • Occasionally assist with special events and/or property buyouts.
