Description

We are looking to hire multiple cooks who are passionate about the Culinary Arts to join our Culinary team.  This individual must be creative, motivated, and passionate about growing their talents in the kitchen! 


Overview

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Leads by example and masters both the hot and cold food item production.
  • Must be able to read recipes and follow measurement instructions accurately.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all team members.
  • Consistently practice safe and sanitary food handling techniques.
  • Maintain workstation and equipment safety and cleanliness.
  • Apply basic knife skills required for preparation of hot and cold foods.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food products, and food service equipment.
  • Ability to operate kitchen power equipment.
  • Ability to utilize cutting instruments.
  • Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 40 lbs. (kitchen equipment and food and non-food items).

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language.
  • Ability to work any assigned shift/work schedule.
  • Additional duties assigned by Management.

COMPENSATION:

Cook II $17-$18 Per Hour

Cook III $19-$20 Per Hour

Lead $21-23 Per Hour

SCHEDULE:

Part-Time or Full-Time

This is a 24-7, 365 day a year business that will require some work during evenings, weekends and holidays. A flexible schedule that can move between shifts and days as needed is highly desired.

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate kitchen power equipment.
  • Ability to utilize cutting instruments.
  • Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 40 lbs. (kitchen equipment, food and non-food items).
  • Ability to work any assigned shift/work schedule.
  • Has or is willing to obtain Washington State food handlers’ card
  • Minimum formal education of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read recipes and follow measurement instructions accurately.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all team members.
  • A minimum of two-years of training or related experience preferred.
  • Able to accomplish assigned projects in a timely manner
