Primary Purpose ofPosition:
Responsiblefor the general repairs and maintenance of custom machinery and mechanicalequipment as well as fabrication of new custom equipment. Works with engineering to analyze methods andmanufacturing process problems to determine root cause and corrective actions. Performswork on gearboxes, rigging, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, screwcompressors, vacuum pumps, fluid pumps, autoclaves, ovens, electricaltroubleshooting, digital and analog instrumentation, and controls. Fabrication responsibilities includefabrication, design input, assembly, welding (TIG/MIG/Arc), hydraulic,pneumatic & controls of specialized equipment. Additional work lightingsystems, HVAC unit freezers and light carpentry, machining, and machinebuilding.
