Mt. Hood Winery is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate wine professional to lead the our service team in our tasting room in Hood River, Oregon. As the primary hospitality leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the day to day operations of the tasting room. This pivotal role offers an opportunity to create memorable guest experiences, build a high quality team and to help us contiue to showcase Mt. Hood Winery as one of the premier wineries in the Columbia Gorge AVA.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in winery/hospitality settings with knowledge of wine and a proven track record in creating exceptional customer experiences and loyalty programs
Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
Ability to make decisions under pressure and lead a team of 2-12 staff
OLCC servers license is required, other wine certifications are a plus
Proficiency with POS systems, reservation platforms, and inventory management
Previous Orderport software experience preferred
Ability to lift and carry 50 pound wine cases, stand, bend and swoop for 8+ hours
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate of $25-$28 per hour, depending on experience
