Gander & Goose, the Gorge’s best cocktail bar, is looking for a cook 3-4 nights a week, 30-40 hours weekly starting mid/late May. $18-$20/hr DOE, plus full tip-share, which easily doubles your hourly wage on busy nights. Small staff, open kitchen, great customers, unique food, good pay, and fantastic coworkers.
Open kitchen means this is a job for a social cook. Someone who can and likes to chat with customers, occasionally take and input orders into the POS, etc. Small menu features savory rice waffles, oysters on the half shell for happy hour, and a few appetizers. We do a great from-scratch Miso, get our oysters from Hama Hama, and roast a lot of veggies. Room to grow and get creative with the menu for the right candidate.
