KickStand Coffee & Kitchen is a fun, hip “New American” restaurant in Hood River, Oregon serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails and Stumptown coffee.
JOB OVERVIEW: We are looking for a barista and/or cashier to work AM shifts. Ideally this person genuinely loves providing great customer service & making coffee. The barista’s primary responsibilities will be making coffee drinks via espresso machine, excellent customer service, operating the point of sale, and of course, serving food and pouring beer.
DETAILS: Hourly pay ($14.20) + tips ($17-25/hour)- Part to Full time position – Must have availability AM shifts, as well as weekends and holidays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALITIES:Provide consistent and genuine quality customer service.Greet and welcome customers in a polite and friendly manner.Provide them with information about products and services offered.Have great work ethic, willingness to tackle any & all projects as needed and work calmly and well under pressure.Managing daily tasks.Work POS for counter service breakfast.A strong sense of urgency and efficiency to manage all station responsibilities in a timely manner.Maintain all customer and work areas including restrooms, inside and out, in a clean, safe and orderly condition. Make sure the areas are well stocked with appropriate supplies.
KEY REQUIREMENTS: Oregon Food Handler’s Card & OLCC Card
