Wilderton Aperitivo Co.
Position:
TASTING ROOM SUPERVISOR (Seasonal)
Location:
HOOD RIVER, OR
Company Information
Wilderton was founded in Oregon in 2019 as an early leader in the exploding non-alcohol drinks industry, to bring a craft spirits sensibility to mindful cocktails, with liquids worthy of playing a part in the growing mixology culture.
Our passion for botanicals and cocktails led us to make the best damn Aperitivos this side of Italy, all without alcohol. While you may not know this category by name yet, we bet you’ve enjoyed it in a spritz or a Negroni!
As the first non-alcoholic distillery and tasting room in the country our difference is in the making. Unlike many other non-alcoholic spirits, Wilderton crafts aperitivos by hand in small batches from botanicals that we source from around the world and feature industry exclusive natural preservation formulations.
Position Summary
This front-of-house hospitality rockstar position will lead day to day operations at the nation’s only non-alcoholic tasting room through our busy Summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day).
You believe 100% in Wilderton’s mission to elevate mindful drinking through craft non-alcoholic options and can’t wait to evangelize Wilderton as a face of the brand all day every day. You love to get nerdy about ingredients and production details. You are an educator at heart and ideally have spent time behind a bar at some point in your career.
This role will serve as the Tasting Room’s primary customer facing employee Monday through Friday and will also oversee training and scheduling of additional part time staffing for weekends and holidays.
You will also lead on and off-site tastings and events locally and in Portland to create Wilderton brand advocates.
The position requires an outgoing, well organized, self-motivated and disciplined individual who is focused on the customer’s experience and has an eye for style to boot!
