Uplift Local’s Membership Manager will lead our efforts to grow, steward, and sustain a community of members who believe in the value of independent local journalism. Uplift Local is a community-centered news and information service. We seek to fill information gaps to better serve the needs of Columbia River Gorge communities, specifically in Hood River, Wasco, Klickitat and Skamania counties. Our team grows, changes and develops together in a way that is responsive to community needs.
This role is responsible for managing the full membership funnel—from audience growth and outreach to donor conversion, stewardship, retention, and member engagement. The Membership Manager will help turn readers into long-term supporters through thoughtful campaigns, compelling communications, community presence, and relationship-building.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both strategy and execution.
